This website is operated by JJB Innovations Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to provide information about HxSurg and to let interested people join our pilot interest list. By using this site or submitting your details, you agree to the terms below.
1. About HxSurg
HxSurg is a clinical advisory and decision-support tool. It is intended to support clinicians and does not replace clinical judgement, local Trust protocols, or the treating clinician's duty of care. HxSurg is currently in pilot and is not a registered medical device. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice or a recommendation for the care of any individual patient.
2. Use of this website
The content on this site is provided for general information only. While we take care to keep it accurate, we make no warranties that it is complete, current or error-free, and we may change or remove content at any time. All trademarks, logos and brand names shown belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; their inclusion does not imply endorsement beyond the partnerships described.
3. What we collect when you contact us
When you complete the pilot interest form, we collect the details you provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your Trust or organisation (if given)
- The nature of your interest, and any context you choose to include
Please do not include any patient-identifiable information or clinical data in the form.
4. How we use your details
We will use your details only to:
- contact you about HxSurg and the pilot; and
- respond to your queries.
We will not sell your details, and we will not use them for unrelated marketing or share them with third parties except where necessary to operate this service (for example, our form-delivery provider) or where required by law.
5. Lawful basis and your rights
Under the UK GDPR, our lawful basis for processing your details is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, and we will delete your details.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, or to withdraw consent, contact us via JJB Innovations Ltd (see section 8). You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
6. How long we keep your details
We keep your details only for as long as needed to contact you about the pilot and respond to your queries, after which they will be deleted, unless you have asked to stay on our interest list or a longer period is required by law.
7. Data security and storage
Form submissions are transmitted securely over HTTPS and delivered to us by email through a third-party form-delivery service. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information; however, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
